Majorie Michaels is an award-winning film production company. Nostalgic, yet fresh, and with a strong vision and deep commitment to the craft, MM strives to be both a conduit for and a collaborator with emerging and established screenwriters, actors, and cinematographers.

Aaron Murtagh founded Majorie Michaels as a vehicle for sharing stories he finds both uncomfortable and inspiring. Aaron studied photography at Syracuse University and film directing at the California Institute of the Arts. His acclaimed short films What You Don’t See and White Elephant have screened at festivals throughout the US. He also produced the award-winning feature film Present Company Excluded (Best Actress IFFNOHO, Best Director New Fest, and Best Women in Film Golden Door International Film Fest). He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.

This bittersweet coming-of-age short depicts a teen's unrequited love for his much older co-worker. White Elephant was featured at the Montana Film Festival 2017, the Covellite International Film Festival 2017, and the Portland Festive Film Festival 2017. Watch the trailer here
